State Hunting

As I said to Regis a couple days ago, I really don't think I can stand living in Utah much longer. It's just too cold. There are lots of good things about this state, but I can't handle being trapped in my house for at least four months of the year. The problem is, where to go?

The forecast here for Friday is a high of 76. Just sayin'.

Clear skies, high of 54 (for contrast's sake) and a view of the ocean. Come summer, high of 85 and gorgeous surfing possibilities. COME TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.

I don't know . . . you guys think we could handle living out in the mission field after being in Zion for so long?

Well, we're in AZ right now, but I just checked the weather for South Bend and it says that it feels like -24 degrees. I guess you won't be our new neighbors anytime soon. I vote you move to AZ, it's amazing here. It's like a good mix between Utah and California. The church is pretty prevalent here, but its hot like California only less expensive. When Jason and I leave South Bend though I think we'll move to St. Louis. I love it there. Our criteria for when we move is to have fairly good weather, close to a major airport, and close to a temple - all things missing in South Bend but found in St. Louis ;) Plus, St. Louis is about half way between our families.

Bandung is really nice this time of year, but I suppose there is not much chance of that, is there?

I would say you should stay in Provo until I figure out where I want to live, and then we'll see. Maybe Regis will get a great job in the Yukon.
